The Christmas Donkey

 Verse 1:

On a cold and starry night in Bethlehem,

A humble donkey stood, beside the inn.

With gentle eyes and a heart so pure,

He played his part, with love demure.

Chorus:

Oh, Christmas donkey, faithful and true,

With humble heart, you carried through.

Symbol of love, acceptance, and grace,

In the story of Jesus, you found your place.

Verse 2:

He carried Mary, weary and frail,

On the long road, through the trail.

With every step, a promise kept,

To serve with faith, where angels wept.

Chorus:

Oh, Christmas donkey, faithful and true,

With humble heart, you carried through.

Symbol of love, acceptance, and grace,

In the story of Jesus, you found your place.

Bridge:

In the stable's warmth, he shared his breath,

Warming the Child, in the manger’s nest.

With silent devotion, he stood so near,

Guardian of hope, casting out fear.

Chorus:

Oh, Christmas donkey, faithful and true,

With humble heart, you carried through.

Symbol of love, acceptance, and grace, I

n the story of Jesus, you found your place.

Outro:

So let us remember, on this holy night,

The donkey's gift, and his gentle light.

In his humble way, he taught us all,

To serve with love and heed the call.
